Fresh off the release of the highly anticipated album Fixtape under OVO, international superstar Popcaan stopped by KUBE to promote the new project. Before discussing the new project, we reminisced on Popcaan’s upbringing in Jamaica and debated joints versus blunts. After discussing the project and working with Drake and the rest of OVO, we discussed how he’ll be promoting the album, assuring a music video to the lead single “Twist & Shout” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake and the future of Unruly Festival during the COVID 19 pandemic. Fixtape isn’t the only project we’re getting in 2020., Popcaan gave us an insight into a forthcoming new EP, a collaborative effort coming from his own label.
