New Music: Meek Mill – “Believe” ft. Justin Timberlake

Meek Mill returning with some motivation!

Following a controversial couple of weeks of back and forth with ex-girlfriend and rapper Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill comes through with a brand new anthem titled “Believe”. The anthem which features Justin Timberlake finds Meek Mill counting his blessings “for motivational purposes only”. “Follow your dreams not your addictions / How we gon’ follow our dreams locked in a prison / They tried to swollow me whole, God be my witness / Deprive me outta my dreams but I’m relentless,” he spits over the  RobKnox production. Justin Timberlake takes care of the chorus. “Put my face in the dirt on the ground / Still I race off to take back the crown, yes / You can break my body / But you can’t lock the soul of a man down,” he croons. “And see the grill thing, thank God / You believe, make sure you pray when you kneel, yeah,” he continues. The duo team up to inspiring in the powerful video.

I’m definitely feeling this vibe following the week of craziness! Beyond that, it’s just nice to see Meek continue to evolve and shine through his music. “I’m having these experiences that are fueling me in such a different way,” he said during an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” last year. “I think it was really birthed out of what can I do right now to just be a part of my community and integrate.” Following a triumphant year following his release from prison (an on-going legal case that caught national attention) with the release of his last album Championship, we’re always looking forward to new music from Meek Mill! The follow-up to 2018’s Championship is expected for release later this year. Until then, check out Meek Mill and Justin Timberlake in “Believe” below@
