After teaming up with Kehlani on “Morning,” Teyana Taylorcontinues to roll out music with a brand new track titled “We Got Love”. The track, produced by Kanye West, finds the Harlem songstress exploring various forms of love. “I got house and the carriage, yeah / I got black love in marriage, yeah / They gon’ say, “You can’t have it”, but / I’m like, “Don’t kill the messenger”,” she croons over the Younghearts’s “We’ve Got Love (You Better Believe It)” sampled production. “We gon’ break the stigma up / Huxtables turned to Obamas / It ain’t about where you been / Where you from, what you got, it’s all about love,” she continues. “We Got Love” was originally set for Taylor’s sophomore album K.T.S.E. However, the track was delayed after facing clearing issues. “I’ve always felt this was such a special record and wanted it to have the right moment,” Teyana explained.

“We Got Love” is another cut off of Teyana Taylor’s upcoming project The Album, due for release in 2020. Following the steamy “Morning” featuring Kehlani, which sorta lost me from the beginning and the incredible Mase sampling “Tell Me What You Want” featuring King Combs, “We Got Love,” is another promising track showcasing versatility and talent from the G.O.O.D. Music diva. According to TMZ, Teyana Taylor and Kanye West have already shot a music video for the new single! If so, I’m definitely looking forward to another visual collaboration from these two! Until then, let’s celebrate love! Check out Teyana Taylor’s “We Got Love” featuring Kanye West below!
