Song Of The Day: Russ & BIA – “Best On Earth”

If you follow Rihanna or are in touch with social media, you may have came across ATL rapper Russ’ latest release and one of my favorite songs “Best On Earth” featuring Boston’s very own BIA. The raunchy  track which features the infamous bed creaking incorporated into the bouncy production, similar to Trillville’s “Some Cut,” finds Russ and BIA crooning about the sexual chemistry they share with their lovers. “Like the way she work, ayy / She always puts me first, ayy / And I know I’ve been around / But I swear you got the best on Earth, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,” Russ sings over the Boi-1da production. “He ain’t keepin’ his hands up off my asscheeks / I got somethin’ to give him and if he asks me / I’m not fillin’ up, baby, I let him gas me,” BIA responds. The track caught momentum after Rihanna posted the song on Instagram sparking the “Best On Earth” challenge. “Thank you @BIA and RUSS for my new fav song #BestOnEarth,” read the caption. The singer probably came across the song after hearing about the lyric, “Tatted like Rihanna, pussy singing like it’s Run The Town,”. The track is the perfect bop for any moment but especially when you’re feeling your lover or yourself! “Best on Earth” is Russ’ eleventh single this year!
