After making a complete comeback with “Taste” featuring Offset, Tyga keeps up the momentum with “Dip”. On the lustful track, T-Raww provides the turn-up asking, “Can you make it dip?”. “First things first, I f-ck, get all the money / Bitches love me, keep it hunnid / Bitches like you, ’cause you funny, niggas ain’t stunners / I’m the one that came and f-ck the summer,” he spits over the D.A. Damon production. For the video, Tyga enlists Nicki Minaj for a visual remix. “I think he wanna dippy the tippy, then put it on my lippy / Even when it get sticky, he know it still got the drippy / Yeah I’m pulling your card though, got him calling me Ricky / All these bitches my minis, got him calling me Mickey,” she spits. In the self-directed video, the duo pull inspiration from Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson’s “Scream” to bring their song to life! “Tyga and I coordinated f-cking well for this video, you would think we put the looks together. All we did was put the colors together. The video is clean and fly as f-ck. I’ve shot huge big-budget videos before that didn’t look like that. He’s extremely f-cking talented,” she exclaimed upon Tyga’s directing skills. It’s nice to see Tyga returning his “Rack City,” trap roots. Interestingly this is the Young Money label-mates first collaboration after their “Truffle Butter” fallout. “Dip” along with “Taste” are both cuts off of Tyga’s forthcoming seventh album.
