If you thought Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s little scuffle at this month’s New York Fashion week’s Harper Bazaar Ball was the end of the female hip hop contenders feud, you were wrong. After teaming up with Pardison Fontaine on his new track “Backin’ It Up,” it’s clear that Cardi B is not backing down. Pardison Fontaine, New York MC known for penning hits for Cardi, produces another club banger perfect for the Bronx bombshell to subtly continue what was started. “Ran down on a bitch, she almost pissed on her leg / Bitches think they f*ckin’ with me, must be sick in the head/ Why don’t you chill with the beef and get some chicken instead,” she spits. “Got the crown, shut it down, have them hype up in the 6 / If she dead, let her lay won’t bring no life into this bitch,” she continues. The beef roots from a timeline of disses from Nicki Minaj on Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish” and London On Da Track’s “No Flag”. After firing back at Nicki on G Eazy’s “No Limit,” the duo entered the ring on Migos’ controversial “Motorsport”. Although the duo attempted to brush off the fiery feud shortly after, Nicki Minaj’s QUEEN was jam packed with subtle shots at the “trap Selena”. After a few more subtle shots at each other, Cardi put meaning to “on site” when she attacked Nicki at NYFW. “You put your hands on certain people, you ‘gon die. Period!” she said. “I’m not the bitches in the strip club and I’m not a bitch on a reality show. My money is very fu**ing long too,” Nicki responded on the following episode of QUEEN radio. Looking forward to how both parties move forward! Who’s side are you taking and why? Sound off in the comments below! Check out Cardi B in Pardison Fontaine’s “Backin’ It Up” below!
