Know Your Culture: A Note For The Readers

Dear Know It Alls, Supporters and Readers Alike,

It has been two years since I shut off the mic, packed my bags and moved from the East Coast to the West Coast with the ambition of furthering my experience in radio and entertainment. Within the last two years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn the “ins and outs” of the industry while experiencing the unique culture Seattle, Washington has to offer. In addition to professional experiences, there has been a handful of personal gains that have changed my life as well. Between the two, I haven’t made the time to keep BennettKnows or my dream active. Sometimes you need to take a step back in order to find yourself. As I said before, as I grow so will my work and I’m ready to make my return!

From East Coast to West Coast: A Note For The Readers

Get ready for the new chapter of BENNETTKNOWS! I’m a little smarter, a little wiser but just as good looking! I’m currently working on a new project that will rocket BennettKnows back into the spotlight. Following the success of #BennettKnowsRadio, #KnowYourCulture will be a three-part series giving you the culture of three creative cities and the curators and creators there. Of course, we’re keeping it 100% hip-hop! If you love music, culture, and media, you’ll love this project! I have a few more interviews and some mixing to do before releasing the first installment. Hopefully, we can get it out before the year is over!

I’m excited and looking forward to getting back to BENNETTKNOWS! Between the music and my personal experiences, I have so much to share! I want to thank all my supporters, friends, and family members that keep reaching out motivating me to get back to the grind! A dream we dream alone is just a dream. So let’s make this a reality!
