Artist Spotlight: Jon Hope – “Live & Die (Freestyle)”

In case you missed it, Jon Hope released the Alex Sandoval directed video to his latest freestyle “Live & Die (Freestyle)”. On the track the Providence rapper finds himself reflecting over a nasty hip-hop production. “All I need is one chance, you niggas need nine / Where’s your hustle, where’s your heart at? Ain’t you ashamed with no vision/nigga Braile couldn’t feel this pain,” he spits. “In the school of hard knocks paying tuition and fees / I got my Masters, fam I bougie with a degree” he continues. “Live & Die” follows Jon’s last project, Beauty Savage. From endorsements with RIPTA, to Sway in The Morning, to taking that Masters degree to teach hip-hop courses at Rhode Island College, Jon Hope is everywhere!
