New Music: 6lack – “Cutting Ties”

After creating a buzz throughout 2017, R&B  crooner 6lack returns with a new feel titled “Cutting Ties”. On the track, he croons about getting over a lover and enjoying his lonesome. “I pray to God I don’t have to pay for not knowing / This world is new to me, I do not know it /My pride never wanted you to know this / Sometimes I wanna be alone and,” he spits. “Either way I gotta go, woah, oh, yeah / When it comes to cutting ties, girl, I’m like a pro, woah, woah / I tell you what you wanna know, oh, woah,” he continues. 6lack’s first successful project Free 6lack earned the mysterious artist a Grammy Nomination for Best Rap/Sung Performance. “I have more clarity,” he explained upon releasing the follow-up. “I feel like that translates to my real life, too, not just my music. I feel obligated to be clearer and tackle things straight on instead of pushing them to the side for later on,” he continued. Definitely looking forward to watching this talented artist grow!
