Artist Spotlight: Ky – “Energy”

Ky is an aspiring artist and music enthusiast out of Providence, Rhode Island. After finishing a couple of internships at prestigious music hubs like Hot 97 and Roc Nation, Ky is delivering his smooth debut single “Energy”. On the track, Ky expresses his feelings for a lover and the energy they share. “F-ck you like you royalty/ baby, keep it one hundred just how I want it / ain’t no backing down/ so I can put it down,” he croons over a bouncy production. “Every time you come around, you got that energy,” he continues on the chorus. In the music video, directed by Ronald Jusayan, Ky and a friend hit an open field delivering some stunning visuals. In my opinion, “Energy” is the perfect combination of trap, pop and smooth vocals setting Ky up for success in 2018!
