New MV: Quavo & Nicki Minaj – “She For Keeps”

Quavo & Nicki Minaj Are Playing For Keeps In "She For Keeps" Video

Quavo and Nicki Minaj are playing for keeps in the video to their highly anticipated collaboration “She For Keeps”. “She For Keeps”, off of Control The Streets Vol.1, finds Quavo and Nicki Minaj spitting about their love for each other. “Nails and hair all long, shoppin’ spree in Hong Kong / Ass fat in her jeans, she don’t like to wear thong / She gon’ make you sing this song / Is she for keeps,” Quavo spits over the Frank Dukes & Murda Beatz production. “Please say the barbie, he say the barbie / I’m the bad bitch that all the bad bitches f-ck with / She a mad bitch if she ain’t f-ckin’ with me, suck d-ck / This piece flooded out cost about a buck six,” Nicki responds. “Pull up on a bum bitch and be like what up sis,” she continues.

The DAPS and Quavo directed video follows an 60s influence that finds the duo playing lovers in individual scenes before hitting the diner for a date. While the video’s crisp production is undeniable, the song itself doesn’t quite hit as expected. Back in 2017, the duo teased the collaboration but this doesn’t meet the hype. “We’re shooting a video for your new favorite song that you didn’t hear yet,” Nicki claims in a video posted to her Instagram. Definitely looking forward to more from these artists in 2018! While Migos’ Culture II is due for release on March 9th, Nicki Minaj’s long-awaited follow-up to The Pinkprint doesn’t have a release date. Until then check out Quavo and Nicki Minaj in “She For Keeps” below!
