Cardi B Makes Billboard History!

Cardi B is kicking off the New Year breaking records! This week, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper made history becoming the first rap act and third act of all time to have their first three singles simultaneously on the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100. Tying with The Beatles and Ashanti, Cardi made her mark when “Bodak Yellow” re-entered the chart at #10. Along with “Bodak Yellow” comes G-Eazy’s “No Limit” (#4) and the star-studded Migos collaboration “Motorsport” (#7). Cardi took to Instagram to celebrate her success. “I got three songs on the top 10. You know how that make [me] feel? … I know we all God’s children, but I think he love me the most. But y’all special too,” she celebrated in a video posted to Instagram.

“Bodak Yellow” isn’t the only song making money moves! Cardi’s collaboration with Ozuna on “La Modelo” entered the chart at #52  and her latest single “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage debuted at #14. “Thank you Lord. Only you and I know how much I pray to you. These last few weeks been too much for me but my Lord always find a way to uplift me,” she continued. With a handful of tracks already on the Billboard Hot 100, a highly anticipated debut album and a slew of forthcoming collaborations, it looks like Cardi has another record breaking year ahead of her. A remix of Bruno Mars’ “Finesse” featuring the rapper is due for release tonight! We’re definitely looking forward to more Cardi B in 2018!
