A  2017 #BennettKnowsRadio Award (#BKRA) is an award recognizing Rhode Island artists and their achievements in 2016. Over the year, numerous artists have joined us on #BennettKnowsRadio to discuss exciting projects, premiere new singles or just to keep us updated on their musical journey. With a total of 50 + special guest over the year, #BennettKnowsRadio narrowed down the best-of-the-best in categories including Video of The Year, Project of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best New Artist amongst five others. This year’s biggest winners includes Rayne who won the #BKRA for Female Artist of the Year, Most Anticipated and Single of the Year. Khary won two awards including Male Artist Of The Year and Project Of The Year for his remarkable 2016 project intern aquarium. Almty Ceez also won two #BKRA for Video Of The Year and Performer Of The Year based off of his 2015 single “Pull Up”. While Bianca won her third consecutive #BKRA for Creative of the Year, Almty Nino and Almty Yami won their first #BKRA for Best New Artist and Best Collaboration. Above all, this year has been an amazing year for the city of Providence and the emerging culture. Not only does the list below transpire the amazing work that Rhode Island artists have put out in 2015 but it’s an overall testimony to all that is to come in 2017!
