New Music: Kehlani Takes Her Own “Advice”

After delivering singles like “CRZY” and “Distraction”, R&B crooner Kehlani continues to promote her debut project with a new track titled “Advice”. “Advice” finds the singer serenading a smooth production as she confronts a broken relationship. “Cause how is the man of my dreams not a man of his words / And how is the man for me just a man that makes me hurt,” she asks. “It’s time to take my own advice,” she continues. At this point Kehlani’s album SweetSexySavage is 3/3. “As women we are told that we cannot be multi layered.. we are put in boxes.. we can’t be all the above.. reclaim yourself…The name is supposed to challenge you. The name is supposed to make you question… only to let you find your own answer,” she explained upon the album’s title. SweetSexySavage is due for release January 27th, 2017.
