New MV: Alicia Keys – “Blended Family” ft. A$AP Rocky

After returning to the scene with her latest hit “In Common”, Alicia Keys follows-up with a new feel “Blended Family”. On the stripped down track, Alicia delivers open-heart expressions over a Mark Batson production. “Hey I might not really be your mother / That don’t mean that I don’t really love ya / And even though I married your father / That’s not the only reason I’m here for ya,” she croons in a verse dedicated to her step child. “That’s what you do, what you do, what you do / What you do for love,” she continues.In the video both Alicia and featured artist A$AP Rocky spend time with blended families of their own. “I remember having four step-moms at nine / Loved Christmas time and birthday was fly / Hit my sisters just for dinner cause the cookin’ was bomb / Her mothers supper made me love her like she took me to prom,” A$AP continues on the hook. “Blended Family (What You Do For Love)” is the second single off Alicia Keys’ new album HERE.
