ICYMI: John Legend Celebrates Love In ” Love Me Now”

In case you missed it: John Legend is back and he’s ready to sooth our hearts again! Earlier this week, the R&B singer returned to the scene with a brand new single “Love Me Now”. The single, which sets the pace for the forthcoming album Darkness & Light, is about the power of love and how it can overcome all. “I don’t know who’s gonna kiss you when I’m gone / So I’m gonna love you now, like it’s all I have / I know it’ll kill me when it’s over / I don’t wanna think about it, I want you to love me now,” he croons on the chorus. In the video, directed by Nabil Elderkin, captures various couples loving to the fullest. “This video shows how love can be shared in some of the most difficult situations on earth in which the human spirit and connection with each other prevails,” said Nabil. “From one of the longest standing refugee camps in northern Iraq just 45 miles outside of Mosul, to Standing Rock Reservation where they are fighting against the Dakota Access Pipeline that threatens their sacred lands and all of our water, it is a glimpse into these couples’ lives and the lives of those in their communities.” John Legend’s Darkness & Light which features collaborations with Chance the Rapper, Miguel, and Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard, is due for release December 2nd!
