New Music: Ragz Da Artist – “April Showers”

ragz-april-showersAfter delivering his debut project Everything Is Everything, Providence R&B singer Ragz Da Artist keeps the momentum going with another banger titled “April Showers”. “April Showers” is a smooth bedroom filler that finds Ragz admiring a beautiful lady, “Girl I promise when I get there / straight to the room / Know them legs are like a flower girl / waiting to bloom,” he spits over the smooth Najae Beats production. “Body remind me of them April showers / she making it rain / that thang like drip, drip, drip drip, drip, drip,” he continues.

Growing up Ragz caught his musical influences from Liberian music, Biggie, Tupac, Luther Vandross, Sam Cook and Usher. On his latest project, Everything Is Everything, Ragz provides a “smooth and sexy” R&B with some rap verses while exploring his journey growing up. “When I started my taking my music seriously, I was in a messed up place. I had to start over. I took all the hurt, all the pain I’ve been through, everything I put other people through and just washed my hands. Everything is everything,” he explained. While the project has insightful tracks such as “In The City”, a song that explores “the system”, Ragz also provides club-bangers with tracks like “Glass Tables” and “Like Woah”.
