New Music: Sia – “Satisfied” ft. Miguel & Queen Latifah

Sia, Miguel and Queen Latifah are getting theatrical for the forthcoming Hamilton mixtape! On a new single titled “Satisfied”, the trio team up to deliver an alternate version of Hamilton’s award-winning original song “Helpless”. The “Chandelier” songstress takes on the role of Angelica Schuyler (Renée Elise Goldsberry) from the famed Broadway musical, while her “Nostalgic for the Present” tourmate Miguel plays Alexander Hamilton (Lin-Manuel Miranda) in this classic retelling. “You strike me as a woman who has never been satisfied / I’m sure I don’t know what you mean, you forget yourself / You’re like me, I’ve never been satisfied,” Miguel and Sia croon on the hook. Dana Owens sets it off with a fiery verse. “So this is what it feels like to match wits / With someone at your level! What the hell is the catch? It’s / The feeling of freedom, of seein’ the light / It’s Ben Franklin with a key and a kite! You see it, right,” Queen Latifah continues on her verse. The Hamilton Mixtape, due December 2nd, features a star-studded cast including Nas, Wiz Khalifa, Common, Chance the Rapper, Busta Rhymes, Usher, Alicia Keys, John Legend, and more!
