After delivering singles like “L.A. Love (La La)” and “MILF$”, Fergie slows things down with another single titled “Life Goes On”. Unlike the previous singles, “Life Goes On” is a stripped down track that finds herself accepting the life that she lives. “Every day when I wake up / Tryna read my fortune on the bottom of my coffee cup / But it seems like I never finish / It’s always half full (or is it half empty?),” she croons. “Life goes on with or without you / It’s up to you what you’re gonna do / You could go or you could stay / Who cares anyway?,” she continues on the hook. “Life Goes On” is the third cut off of Fergie’s highly-anticipated album Double Dutchess.
The last time Fergie released a solo-album was The Dutchess back in 2007. Now, if you don’t remember that, The Dutchess was poppin’! Fergie’s debut, solo-album spawned five smash hit singles including “Clumsy”, “Fergielicous”, “Glamorous” ft. Ludacris, “London Bridges” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry”. She described her comeback album as “a modern version” of her 2006 debut The Dutchess. The highly anticipated album, Double Dutchess, includes collaborations with Rae Srummerd, Will.I.Am, Nicki Minaj and many others! Are you ready for the comeback?
