Hit Or Miss: Bruno Mars – “24K Magic”

A couple weeks ago the king of Uptown Funk returned to the scene with his brand new single “24K Magic”. “24K Magic” is a “braggadocious” party anthem that finds “pinky fingers in the air”. Upon its arrival, fans burst with excitement but it wasn’t long until it was dubbed the “Uptown Funk 2.0”. Although the track picks up where his previous hit left off, I believe Bruno’s picking it up just a tad bid … just enough to deliver life to the afterparty. With “24K Magic” debuted at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, I think it’s safe to say that Bruno is back. However, I hope the singer brings more music that pushes the “needle of pop evolution”. Before the singer officially released the track he posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “You can call it my first single, but I call it the invitation to the party.” So I’m excited for what Bruno has in store for the future!
