New Album: Drake Teases ‘More Life’ With 4 New Songs

drake-more-life-1477312297After hanging out with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, John Mayer and many others for his 30th birthday, Drake announces his new album More Life. The self-proclaimed playlist, and not mixtape, is due in December and will contain original music. The announcement came during a special birthday episode of OVOSOUND RADIO on Sunday (Oct. 23), where Drake premiered 4 brand new tracks. The tracks included “2 Birds, One Stone”,  a hard-hitting track featuring 21 Savage titled “Sneakin”, a smooth number that finds Drake crooning about “Fake Love” and finally a remix of “Wanna Know,” a buzzing track from 17-year-old London emcee Dave aka Santan Dave (maybe another ILoveMakonnen, Majid Jordan story). The 4 tracks as a collective showcase a new direction for the rapper, who’s last album, Views, most recently surpassed 1 Billion streams on Apple Music.

More Life will follow Drake’s highly successful 2016 project Views. In true Drake-fashion, the influential rapper evolves delivering a smooth, stripped down sound for the winter season. I’m definitely looking forward to more music from Drake. It’s always interesting to see/hear the response to his work. However, I can not wait for the Canadian rapper to surprise us with something well-developed and much more hard-hitting than his previous work. More Life is due for release this December. Get a feel for the forthcoming project below!
