ICYMI: Kehlani – “Table” ft. Little Simz

After delivering tracks such as “24/7”, “Distraction” and “CRZY”, Kehlani delivers another banger titled “Table”. The smooth track finds the Bay R&B singer crooning about self love and understanding as she searches for someone to share her love with. “I will say I’m a believer in letting people be people / If you’re humble or conceited, I’ll still see you as equal / I don’t be taking the defensive to how the devil be working / I know that god is my witness, fulfilling my purpose,” she croons. The track features a verse from North London femcee Little Simz. “I try my best to be lovin’ and give my all when it’s needed / I make the most of my time, and try to learn all the teachers / Don’t take my kindness for weakness / Steady dealing with madness,” she raps.

It’s unclear whether “Table” will appear on Kehlani’s upcoming debut SSS. However, the album itself is on it’s way. “I’m definitely in the last part of it,” she explained in a recent interview with Los Angeles’s Power 106. “I’m in the final run. I’m doing all the tweaking and bringing in people to give me opinions…Dope people that I trust, other artists and producers that I work with…I’m putting tracklists together, thinking of tracklists, plotting on artwork,” she continued.
