ICYMI: Alicia Keys – “Blended Family (What You Do For Love)” ft. A$AP Rocky

After returning to the scene with her latest hit “In Common”, Alicia Keys follows-up with a new feel “Blended Family”. On the stripped down track, Alicia delivers open-heart expressions over a Mark Batson production. “Hey I might not really be your mother / That don’t mean that I don’t really love ya / And even though I married your father / That’s not the only reason I’m here for ya,” she croons in a verse dedicated to her step child. “That’s what you do, what you do, what you do / What you do for love,” she continues. A$AP Rocky delivers a heart-felt verse of his own. “I remember having four step-moms at nine / Loved Christmas time and birthday was fly / Hit my sisters just for dinner cause the cookin’ was bomb / Her mothers supper made me love her like she took me to prom,” he spits. “Blended Family (What You Do For Love)” is the second single off Alicia Key’s forthcoming sixth album HERE.
