New MV: Daya Won’t “Sit Still, Look Pretty”

After assisting the Chainsmokers with the chart topping “Don’t Let Me Down”, Daya keeps the momentum going with visuals to her follow-up single “Sit Still, Look Pretty”. “Sit Still, Look Pretty” is an upbeat pop track that finds the 16-year old pop singer expressing that she doesn’t need a lover or boyfriend to live life and that she will do fine by herself. “Oh I don’t know what you’ve been told / But this gal right here’s gonna rule the world / Yeah, that is where I’m gonna be because I wanna be / No, I don’t wanna sit still, look pretty,” she croons. In the video Daya takes on a handful of popular personas before getting up and kicking ass. “Sit Still, Look Pretty” along with “Hide Away” are both cuts off of Daya’s forthcoming debut Sit Still, Look Pretty.
