New Music: Desiigner Releases Anticipated Single “Timmy Turner”

Earlier this year newcomer Desiigner made his mark on the music scene when he released “Panda”. Although the debut single sounds just like Future and no one actually knows what the 19-year old rapper is saying, “Panda” topped the charts for over 4 weeks. Desiigner continued to make noise when XXL released his Freshman freestyle. While some applauded the G.O.O.D. Music rapper for his “unique style” and addition to today’s hype, others mocked him for his lack of bars.

Today, Desiigner keeps the infamous freestyle going with a highly anticipated single titled “Timmy Turner”. “Timmy Timmy Timmy Turner /Young boy walkin’, wishin’ for a burner / Four, five, six, seven ratchets on ’em / Ten niggas with them, chains clappin’ on ’em,” he raps over the Mike Dean production. While the anticipated single may match the hype, I don’t know how much longer this could go on! In my opinion, Desiigner has no talent and he sounds exactly like Future (who isn’t my favorite either). If Desiigner plans on sticking around, I think he needs to deliver something that hits harder than these two tracks. What do you think?
