New Music: DJ Drama Plugs In Meek Mill, Pusha T & Ty Dolla $ign On “Boyz In The Hood”
After plugging in Chris Brown, Skeme and Lyquin on “Wishing”, DJ Drama continues to promote his forthcoming mixtape Quality Street Music 2. with a new cut titled “Boyz In The Hood”. On the interesting track, Meek Mill, Pusha T and Ty Dolla $ign spit about their experiences and current lifestyle. While Pusha delivers a hook about his usual, “My drugs now got a barcode, now that’s called moving things”, Mill takes us back to his jail cell. “They locked me PC with them trannies and rats / Man that s–t was embarrassing / Twenty-three hours in a cell by myself / Man you couldn’t imagine it.” he spits. Ty $ handles the hook with a couple verses about freedom, “I know you’re watching over me / But the devil’s tryna take my soul / One day all my niggas’ll be free.” DJ Drama’s Quality Street Music 2, due July 22nd, features a handful of artists including Lil Wayne, Mac Miller, Trey Songz, and more!
