New Music: Code Green Returns With “I Know, I Know” ft. Bobby James
Finally some new vibes from our favorite group! After relocating from Providence, Rhode Island to Los Angeles, California Code Green releases the first cut from their forthcoming project 7 Day Trip. “I Know, I Know” is a progressive track that follows releases such as “One Way” and “Damn, I Took Too Many”. With a feature from North Carolina’s Bobby James, Code Green showcases maturity as they begin a new era in their artistry. “I know, I know I could f*ck all your hoe! Might just front you a bag / make sure you come back for more,” they croon on the hook “I know, I know you been blowing my line / I’ve been on 99, tryna get me some more,” they continue.
#BennettKnowsRadio Interviews Code Green
“It is that moment you start feeling in yourself, believing in yourself and what you know, while sticking to what we know and not falling into what popular opinion is telling us. It’s like fuck everything else that’s happening around us. We really fuck with what we bring to the table,” the group explained in a recent interview with HipHopDX. With sounds like this kicking of the beginning of their anticipated project 7 Day Trip, Code Green is well on their way to a “code summer”. A western-inspired visual has been shot and will be released later this summer! Glad to see Code Green back on their wave and always looking forward to more!
