ICYMI: Fat Joe & Remy Ma Put Jay Z On The “All The Way Up (Remix)”
Fat Joe and Remy Ma are all the way up! After teaming up with French Montana and topping the charts with their comeback single“All The Way Up”, the duo plug in Jay-Z for the remix. Over blistering bars over blaring horns the duo change the direction from their current successes and lavish lifestyle to the current success in the game. “This wasn’t me this was God’s doing and this time I won’t finger roll, Pat Ewing / They ain’t wanna see the Squad and the Roc, now they chasing the Wraith like mister Softy’s on the block,” Fat Joe spits. “My swag, my flow, I stole it back! They mad, too bad, my shows is packed / My town, my crown, I really rap, I’m home, my throne, I spoil you that,” Remy continues. Jay Z adds some flavor to the track with a verse addressing Beyoncé and LEMONADE, rapping, “You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions / Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is.” The track is the first off of a forthcoming project titled Platas o Plomo. Twelve years after topping the Billboard Hot 100 and it sounds like the duo has actually something on their hands. Let’s go all the way up!
