New Music: David Guetta Under Fire For His New Song “This One’s For You” ft. Zara Larsson
Earlier this week David Guetta released an updated version of suppose-to-be Listen LP cut “This One’s For You”. Unlike the 2014 track that was released in a handful of countries, the new one features vocals from “Never Forget You” vocalist Zara Larsson. Along with the new vocals comes new endorsement dubbing the banger as the official theme song for the 2016 UEFA European Championship. While football-crazed fans will surely love the track some other DJ’s are not happy with the Guetta’s newest hit. Upon teasing the track on DJ Snake and Diplo accused the French Guetta of plagiarism and say that David made a “fake” “Lean On,” their summer smash featuring MØ. While the tracks sound very similar, I think that David Guetta is just hopping on the wagon producing tracks that he knows will perform well. While that’s not always the most noble move, it definitely works! You can’t hate the player, hate the game! By now both Snake and Diplo have deleted their tweets but they claim it’s “clap-back season” which is good for us because I really enjoy their music! What do you think of this mess? Did David Guetta plagiarize “Lean On” or are Diplo and DJ Snake just mad that Guetta actually has a hit on his hands? Listen to both songs below and sound off in the comments below!
