New Music: Kehlani Returns With “24/7”

More than a month after a reported suicide attempt, Khelani delivers “24/7,” a new song that appears to delve into depression.“It’s OK to not be OK,” she sings. “To dive in your pain / And it’s alright to not be alright / To search for your light,” she continues. The DZL-produced track explores the ups and downs of life and the emotions that come with it. In March, Kehlani was hospitalized after a reported suicide attempt. While the details remain unclear, the songstress had been criticized online for appearing in a photo with PARTYNEXTDOOR while supposedly dating her ex-boyfriend Kyrie Irving. The track is exactly what you’d expect from the down-to-earth singer. Like a true artist, Kehlani addresses the situation through her music. I’m very sure that many fans will be able to make a connection with the track. Kehlani is currently preparing her debut album under Interscope Records for later this year!
