New Music: Alicia Keys Returns With New Single “In Common”

After topping the charts with the 2014 single “Girl On Fire” featuring Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys returns to the scene with a brand new single. The new feel titled “In Common” features the 15-time Grammy Award winner’s amazing vocals over an upbeat electronic production. “We got way too much in common since I’m being honest with you,” she sings over the Latin-flavored rhythm. “Who wants to love somebody like me? / You wanna love somebody like me? / If you could love somebody like me, you must be messed up too,” she continues. The track sets the momentum for Key’s forthcoming sixth studio album. The new album, due for release this summer, is a reflection of her “roots in NYC and hip-hop culture” and “who she is today as an activist, woman, and artist.” I think Alicia Keys is one of those artists that can come and go as she pleases and she’ll still be a success!
