Providence rapper Verzatyl returns to the scene in 2016 with a new track titled “88 (We Here Now)”. The track, which catches inspiration from the 1985 cult trilogy Back To The Future, is a collaboration between Verz and Providence rapper Rome and features verses from Pharoah Da Phenom and Squad OTY. “They say to run the game, you gotta stay patient / Bought a new watch cause the old wasn’t working. Bought a whip cause the walking wasn’t working,” Rome spits over the production setting the pace of the experimental track. “Welcome to the future, where the web is a drug, everybody is a user/Your user name is useless, when you have a platform and you don’t even use it,” Verz continues. “Back to the future … no need cause we here now,” continues on the hook. “88 (We Here Now)” can be found on Rome’s new EP Float Around which could be found on iTunes or Spotify today!
