New Music: Missy Elliott Makes Some Noise With “Pep Rally”

After making a blazing return to music with “WTF (Where They From)”, Missy Elliot follows-up with a brand new single titled “Pep Rally”. The upbeat banger finds the hip-hop femcee working the crowd with high-energy commands. “Stop, drop, rock, and roll” and “whip it like potato salad,” she spits over the bouncy production. “And yeah we get crackin’ like we up at the Super Bowl,” she continues just in time for the most recent Super Bowl aftermath. While the track isn’t as bearable as her Pharrell-assisted single, I think it will still make some buzz for the returning Misdemeanor.
