5 Reasons Kanye West Had The Best Week Ever!

Kanye West made it POP! While I kicked off the week in disappointment with the buzz-track “Facts”, Yeezus had a few other tricks up his sleeves. Throughout the week, the hip-hop superstar met a spew of appearances, releases and even a publicity stunt; officially kicking off “Yeezy Season”.

1. Mr. West set the pace of the week with an interesting audition on the American Idol Farewell Season premiere.
2. The next day, Kanye West stole the People’s Choice Awards without even making an appearance! During the acceptance speech for Favorite Day TV Hosting Team, a fan took the stage (in true Kanye-est fashion) to rant about Kanye’s “Facts”.
3. On Wednesday, pop singer/songwriter Sia released a tightly-produced collaborative piece with Kanye titled “Reaper”.  
4. If this all wasn’t enough for fans to go crazy, Kim Kardashian announced that her boyfriend would reintroduce the #GOODFriday series with a new track later that week.Shortly after, Ye broke the internet with the release of “Real Friends” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and “No More Parties In LA” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
5. By the end of the week, Kanye West announced that his highly anticipated album, SWISH, would be released on Thursday, February 11th!
