New Music: Sia – “Reaper”

In promotion of her forthcoming album comes another smooth track from Sia titled “Reaper”. The track, produced by Kanye West, was originally produced for Rihanna’s ANTI, but when Rihanna turned it down, it landed on Sia’s This Is Acting. “You came to take me away! So close I was to heaven’s gates, but no baby, no baby not today! Reaper!,” she croons over the slapping Yeezus production. If you’re unfamiliar with Sia, the powerful singer started as a songwriter hence the name of her forthcoming album. “I’m calling it This Is Acting because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go into it thinking, ‘This is something I would say.’ It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun,” she explained in a recent interview. This Is Acting is due for release January 29th! Check out Sia’s “Reaper” below!
