Drake’s highly anticipated album Views From The 6 could be ringing in the new year! The highly anticipated project would follow a career-changing year for the Toronto rapper, whose surprise albums If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What A Time To Be Alive, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. According to a mysterious teaser posted on the Daily Rap’s Twitter account, the project might be hitting the Internet on Wednesday, January 6th. The supposed date would follow-up to Drake’s verse from What A Time To Be Alive. “But just know it’ll be January in no time,” he spits on the “30 for 30 Freestyle”. During a performance on New Years Eve Drake reportedly told the crowd that the project would be coming “very soon”. While it all makes sense, you never know what to expect from Drake. Currently, Views From The Six has spawned two singles, “Hotline Bling” and “Right Hand” which were successes on the Billboard Hot 100, having peaked at number two and 58, respectively. Based off that, I believe Views From The Six will have a smooth sound like earlier projects such as Nothing Was The Same and Take Care. Hopefully these rumors mean the release will actually come to fruition very soon! Check back with us for more updates.
