Jon Hope has had an amazing year! Based off of his debut album A Guy Named Harry, Hope has taken supporters and listeners alike on an exciting and well-produced experience that has included various visuals and multiple performances/appearances. On Monday night, Hope joined #BennettKnowsRadio to follow-up on such a successful year while giving us an insight on what is to come in 2016. Reflecting on his latest performance at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center for the Providence Friars Halftime Show, Hope explained how he prepared for the performance and what it means to him moving forward. Still working on A Guy Named Harry, Hope plans to release more visuals, both a “F.I.S.H. & Coffee Milk (Remix)” featuring Boston’s Khary and a remix to “Ain’t Nobody”. In 2016 Hope hopes to expand his brand with numerous projects including his book 100mph In A Parked Car, a forthcoming partnership and maybe some acting …
Hope also discussed new music and the direction he plans on going with the next project. “Where I’m at right now is about really maximizing this voice that I found. I’m not going to give people as much as myself that I did with this project. I don’t want people to be able to tell my story based on my Instagram. Your going to see me minimizing the message and only giving it in the music,” he explained. Before leaving, Hope was presented the #BennettKnowsRadioAwards for Male Artist Of The Year and Project Of The Year. Overall great interview with many “gems” as to what to expect from this artist in the near future! Listen to our discussion below!
