#BennettKnowsRadio kicks off Season 6 with 'Run This Town' theme. (October 2015)

A #BennettKnowsRadio Award is an award recognizing Rhode Island artists and their achievements in 2015. Over the year, numerous artists have joined us on #BennettKnowsRadio to discuss exciting projects, premiere new singles or just to keep us updated on their musical journey. With a total of 50 + special guest over the year, #BennettKnowsRadio narrowed down the best-of-the-best in categories including Video of The Year, Project of the Year, Best Collaboration and “The New Comer” amongst five others. The night’s biggest winners included Jon Hope who won the #BennettKnowsRadioAward for Male Artist Of The Year and Project Of The Year for his remarkable 2015 project A Guy Named Harry. Manny X also won two #BennettKnowsRadioAwards for Single Of The Year and Performer Of The Year based off of his 2015 single “Cat & Mouse”. While Olivia King won her second consecutive #BennettKnowsRadioAward for Female Artist Of The Year, Fast Paper scored his second for Freestyle Of The Year. Above all, this year has been an amazing year for the city of Providence and the emerging culture. Not only does the list below transpire the amazing work that Rhode Island artists have put out in 2015 but it’s an overall testimony to all that is to come in 2016 … and that’s what #RunThisTown is all about!
