New Music: Rudimental – “Lay It All On Me (Remix)” ft. Ed Sheeran, Big Sean & Vic Mensa

This morning, UK production duo released the official remix to their 2015 hit “Lay It All On Me”. The original track, featuring Ed Sheeran, is a smooth and emotional track about giving your lover a shoulder to lean on. On the remix, the duo plug in Big Sean and Vic Mensa who both add an emotional verse to the track itself. “I ride for you, when it gets too deep, I’ll die for you! When your momma got diagnosed, I swear I almost cried for you, I wish I could turn winter to July for you,” Sean spits while the Roc Nation signee spits about respect, “Got to treat her like Aretha, R-E-S-P-E-C-T”. While the track was already smooth, the remix adds more vulnerability to the smooth track. What do you think?
