New Music: August Alsina Lets The “Song Cry”

A few days after debuting the introduction to his sophomore album, August Alsina releases the album’s lead single “Song Cry”. On the emotion-packed, power-production, the R&B singer discloses all the feelings that he has faced since he debuted back in 2014. From haters and family relations to fame and death, August faces his demons in order to rise above the fire. “I can’t hold back these tears! Let me cry, they say a man ain’t supposed to cry! So I’ma let the song cry,” he sings. The track is the fire! I applaud August for coming back with something so truthful! I’m looking forward to more music from this R&B crooner! “Song Cry” serves as the first official single off of August’s This Thing Called Life which is due later this year!
