New Music: Tinashe Plugs In Chris Brown For “Player”

Last month, Tinashe introduced her new album with the buzz-single “Party Favors” featuring Young Thug. Yesterday the “2 On” continued to heat things up with her new single “Player”. On the bouncy track, Tinashe warns a player that she’s up for the fun and games as well. “So you better stay up, player! Yeah, you better keep up player! Cause tonight is a game-changer, so you better stay up, up, player,” she croons over the LULOU and Alex Purple power-production. Chris Breezy comes through with a seductive verse for the R&B/house fused track, “I met her in the hotel lobby! Then we started loving in the elevator! You know I had to eat that; tongue on her body, see you later, alligator,” he spits. “Player” serves as the first single off of Tinashe’s forthcoming sophomore album Joyride. The album includes many other big names including Nicki Minaj, Max Martin, Travi$ Scott and many others! “It’s still top secret. I’m excited,” gushed Tinashe. “This time around it was fun because it’s not the same pressure as making your first album. I kind of already set the tone, set the stage, so now you can just progress and be a little bit more creative, so that’s what I’m doing this album.
