New MV: JoJo Returns With “When Love Hurts”
After making her return to music with her tringle or tri-single mixtape, JoJo delivers visuals to “When Love Hurts”. “When Love Hurts” is an upbeat, balled about a love that never ends. “Those signs went through me like a freight train! You’re getting off testing my patience ’til it’s gone! But then again, I do the same thing, and neither one will ever say we’ve had enough,” she croons over the roaring, EDM-production. In the video, JoJo takes her dancers to an abandon warehouse where they deliver sleek, vogue-inspired visuals. “It’s not a narrative like “Bitch Better Have My Money,” but it’s beautiful and it’s powerful and it’s colorful. I am working with some incredible dancers and I want to showcase some voguing — things like that,” JoJo stated in a recent interview with Rap-Up. “When Love Hurts” serves as JoJo’s return to the music industry. Although she never went anywhere, the “Get Out (Leave)” singer has been under a messy contract that prohibited her from any major releases since the early Millennial. Does JoJo have what it takes to make a successful return!? Check out JoJo in “When Love Hurts” below!
