The ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Soundtrack Is The Perfect Rendition Of Love [Album Review]
Over the last couple of months, we’ve gotten a glimpse into the Fifty Shades Of Grey Soundtrack with smooth and seductive tracks such as The Weeknd’s “Earned It” and Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do”. Today, the soundtrack was released, and let me tell you, I may be in love! The project opens up with Annie Lennox’s take on “I Put A Spell on You”, a soulful, connecting track that sets the pace of the entire soundtrack. After another soulful yet energetic love-song by Laura Welsh comes The Weeknd’s seductive “Earned It”, a smooth Jazz-felt track titled “Meet Me In The Middle” by Jessie Ware and another upbeat love-song by Ellie Goulding with “Love Me Like You Do”. Appropriately following is Beyonce’s “Haunted (Michael Diamond Remix)” and Sia’s inspiring “Salted Wound”. The Rolling Stones make an appearance on the track with their 1978 hit, “Beast of Burden”. Picking up the energy from The Rolling Stones’ “Beast of Burden” comes Awolnation with the indy-pop record “I’m On Fire”. Beyonce makes her second entry with the matured and highly-sexual version of her 2003 debut “Crazy In Love”. Frank Sinatra also makes an entry with his 1957 light-felt, majestic hit “Witchcraft”. Picking up the energy, comes another upbeat, love song by the Vaults titled “One Last Night” and The Weeknd with his second seductive entry “Where You Belong”. Skylar Grey blesses the soundtrack with an always emotional and soulful “I Know You”. Danny Elfman closes the project with two moving tracks instrumentals titled “Ana and Christian” and “Did That Hurt?” Overall, this soundtrack is amazing! The projects explores the ups and downs of relationships making a connection with lovers both young and old! Whether in the bedroom or on your way to dinner, the Fifty Shades Of Grey Soundtrack is the perfect piece to explore and inspire with your significant lover. It’s the perfect rendition of love!
