On Mothers Day, Eminem released the music video to Marshall Mathers LP 2 track, “Headlights”. The track, featuring fun., is an oath to his mother, where he references all of his family issues along with the anger he displayed toward his mother over the last decade. Interestingly the video, directed by Spike Lee, is shot through the eyes of Em’s mother and chronologically follows all of the events that she and Shady went through. The video contains photos and video from Eminem’s childhood. “It was one of those things that’s bothered me for a little bit. It was one of those things that I needed to get off my chest. So I don’t really have anything to elaborate or expand on that record other than everything that I needed to say, I put on that record”, Eminem explained. I think it’s a great video and it’s a nice way to end the “feud”. Eminem is currently preparing his summer ‘Monster Tour’ with Rihanna! The show consists of 3 shows in New York, Detroit and Pasadena.
