Beyonce Addresses Sexuality Of New Album [Watch]

Beyonce Adresses Sexuality In New DocumentaryBeyonce is currently on top of the world! The pop icon, who stayed under the radar for most of 2013, surprised the world with the release of her fifth studio album, Beyonce. Beyonce has been both praised and criticized for it’s over sexuality through-out both the album and visuals. Yesterday, I actually had a conversation with a few friends on the topic. Today, Beyonce released the fourth installment of her ‘self-titled’ documentary and ironically, Beyonce addresses the topic explaining that she’s not afraid to be sexy, and it’s what she wanted to do after having her daughter. “I was very aware of the fact that I was showing my body. I wanted to show my body. I wanted to show that you can have a child and you can work hard and you can get your body back. I know finding my sensuality, getting back into my body, being proud of growing up, it was important to me to that I express that in this music because I know that there are so many women that feel the same thing after they give birth. You can have your child and you could still have fun and still be sexy and still live for yourself”, she explained. While many praise Beyonce for this, some believe that Beyonce may have sold out. “I don’t have any shame about being sexual. Im not embarrassed about it and I don’t believe I have to protect that side of me because I do believe that sexuality is a power that we all have”. I’m not sure about that Bey, it may be a power that only you have! Beyonce currently sits atop the Billboard Top 200 where it will spend its third week at #1 next week! Check out Beyonce in part 4 of her “Self-Titled” documentary below!
