Bruno Mars Talks Super Bowl Performance Jitters

Bruno Mars Talks Super Bowl Performance JittersPerforming at the Super Bowl is a big deal! Bruno Mars joins artists such as Aerosmith, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Prince, Black Eye Peas Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and Madonna as he prepares for his upcoming half time performance. This is a huge moment for the “Gorilla” singer, “It was something exciting for me and my (band). It wasn’t too long ago when we were performing in clubs and bars and pubs, and even when I put (my first) album out, (we were) opening acts for a bunch of different artists, living in a van and traveling around and kind of putting in the work and time. It might seem fast to the outsider looking in, but you know, it’s just another thing we can celebrate and I feel like as a group we all achieved it together”, he explained. While Bruno Mars is an amazing performer, he lacks many aspects that past Super Bowl performances held, but that isn’t why the singers nervous. “Everyone’s putting the fear of God in me like there’s going to be a blizzard,” Mars admitted when considering the weather conditions in New Jersey. Although Eminem or Kanye West, who turned down the opportunity, would’ve been exiting, Bruno’s a great performer with a nice set list! Super Bowl XLVIII is scheduled for Sunday, February 2 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Check out some of my favorite Super Bowl Half Time shows below!
