Miley Cyrus Talks Controversial Year, Trying To Corrupt Ariana Grande + More

Miley Cyrus Talks Controversial VMA PerformanceMiley Cyrus brought us so many controversies this year that it’s hard to count! One of the most memorable moments of 2013 would have to be Miley Cyrus’ twerk-happy, foam-fingering, teddy bear-crazed VMA performance, which brought the “Adore You” singer endless publicity through-out the year. “I went from people just thinking I was, like, a baby to people thinking I’m this, like, sex freak that really just pops molly and does lines all day. It’s like, ‘Has anyone ever heard of rock ‘n’ roll?’ There’s a sex scene in pretty much every single movie, and they go, ‘Well, that’s a character.’ Well, that’s a character. I don’t really dress as a teddy bear and, like, twerk on Robin Thicke, you know”, she explained. Miley understands that the music industry is revolutionary and soon, she won’t be the poster child for controversy any longer, “Even when I hear that — that someone, two years from now, is going to be the next kind of provocateur — like, I can’t wait to collab with whoever the hell that is”. Miley continues to make headlines for controversy this week with the release of her provocative “Adore You” video. Miley also explained that the roles that her and her co-pop stars play are all acts and wished that Ariana Grande would break out of that bubbly, girl-next-door character. During the annual Jingle Ball, Miley tried to get Ariana to step onstage with her, “This will be the best thing that happens to you, because just associating with me makes you a little less sweet.” I agree with Miley! I wished Ariana Grande would stop dressing like a 10-year old too! 2013 was definitely Miley Cyrus’ year! Check out Miley’s unforgettable 2013 VMA performance below!
