Pharrell Talks Miley Cyrus’ Upcoming Music + Compares Her To A “Young Justin Timberlake”

Miley Cyrus has been in the studio with producer, Pharrell Williams, for a while now. A few months ago, a photo of the two along with Tyler the Creator surfaced online of the three in the studio. This shocked many people because no one imagined the three making music together. Pharrell explained their similarities, “What we all have in common is that we like new stuff, we like making music that doesn’t exist. Put it this way, he heard her music and next thing you know he’s in the picture with her. That’s not what you would expect, but that’s what I love doing: totally surprising people.” Miley Cyrus hasn’t released music for a while now; the last time, Miley still had that young-fresh image that she much recently shook off. “Yeah, at times people were difficult, but it’s all part of the process. She is an old soul that was trapped in a younger situation who just bursted at the seams, and I was just happy to be there during that transformation.” Miley’s highly anticipated album is due later this year. “I remember when they use to ask me about the same questions with Justin [Timberlake]; people be like why you going in with N’SYNC?
