While rapping is what brought Nicki Minaj to where she stands today, her pop music is definitively bringing her commercial success. Last week the head Barb visited The Jay Leno Show to promote her next international single, “Pound The Alarm” and debut film “Ice Age 4”. Before performing the dance-pop record, she sat down with Leno to talk about her childhood and rise to fame. During the interview she talks specifically about “traumatizing” experiences at her first job at “Red Lobster”, being a role model for younger children and Jada Pinkett Smith being her inspiration.
