Amongst the “American Idol” drama and rumors comes, Mariah Carey. Earlier last week Mariah Carey’s name surfaced as a new “American Idol” judge. When TMZ caught Mariah’s husband, Nick Cannon and asked him about the rumors Cannon told TMZ, “Idol can’t afford Mariah Carey” . . . Oh! Well further rumors suggest that “American Idol” found the right price at a whopping $17 Million dollars! If the rumors are right and the price is right, the “We Belong Together” singer will be filling one of the two open seats at the “American Idol” judging table. In other news, Mariah recently took twitter to announce her upcoming single “Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” ft. Rick Ross and Meek Mill:

“So I can finally announce to you that my new single is coming out early August! It’s called TRIUMPHANT (Get ‘Em) ft. Rick Ross & Meek Mill.”

She continued explaining the songs significance:

“I wrote TRIUMPHANT when I was going through a difficult time & it helped me get through it. When u hear it, pay attention 2 the lyrics #WIN”
